233 clashes recorded at the front: where is the most difficult situation

There have been 233 combat clashes on the front in the past 24 hours. Russian occupation forces continue massive attacks along the entire front line, actively using aviation, guided bombs, and kamikaze drones.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 8:00 a.m. on May 21.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out one missile strike using one missile and 98 air strikes, dropping 325 guided bombs. In addition, it used 8,902 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,047 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including 75 from multiple rocket launchers.

The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular in the areas of the settlements of Pustohorod and Tovstodubov, Sumy region.
Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery have struck five areas of enemy manpower concentration and one enemy artillery system.

In the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day, six clashes took place, the aggressor carried out two air strikes using seven anti-aircraft missiles, and carried out 73 shelling of the positions of our troops and settlements, including four using MLRS.

In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units five times in the direction of Izbitsky and in the areas of Starytsia and Lyman.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked seven times towards the settlements of Kupyansk, Petropavlivka, Glushkivka, and Novoosinove.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy tried to penetrate our defenses 13 times, attacking in the areas of the settlements of Drobysheve, Dibrova, Ozerne, Stavky, Lyman, and Yampil.

In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy stormed five times in the areas of the settlements of Zakitne and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy carried out one assault operation in the Minkivka area.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the occupiers carried out 27 attacks in the direction of Kostyantynivka, Illinivka, Ivano-Frankivka, Pleshchiivka, Toretsky, Novopavlivka, Sofiivka, Vilny, Bilytsky, and Kucheriv Yar.

In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 35 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Hryshyne, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Zatyshok, Nykanorivka, Shevchenko, Vasylivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, and Molodetske.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked five times in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrivka, Ivanivka, and Kalynivske.

In the Hulyaipil direction, the invaders carried out 29 attacks towards the settlements of Nove Zaporizhzhia, Vozdvizhivka, Tsvitkove, Staroukrainka, Dobropillya, Zaliznychne, Hulyaipilske, Olenokostyantynivka, and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders stopped two enemy attempts to advance in the areas of the settlements of Shcherbaki and Stepnohirsk.

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Dnieper direction.

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
