254 billion hryvnias for everyone: 17 thousand millionaires counted in Ukraine

In 2025, more than 17 thousand Ukrainians officially became millionaires, which is 1.3 thousand more than last year.

This was reported by People’s Deputy Danylo Hetmantsev.

According to the results of this year’s income declaration, millionaires declared a total of 254 billion hryvnias.

At the same time, according to him, in total, citizens declared 474 billion hryvnias of income, which is 93.5 billion hryvnias more than in 2024.

At the same time, the number of households that declared income decreased to 363 thousand, which is 22% less than last year.

“Probably, some simply changed their country of residence and no longer appear in Ukrainian statistics,” Hetmantsev added.

It is worth noting thatthe “borscht index”, which reflects the price of products that go into this dish, increased by 27% in 2025 .

Earlier, the World Bank updated its macroeconomic forecast for Ukraine, taking into account the possible development of a full-scale war. According to the base scenario, if the Russian invasion continues until the end of 2025, then in 2026 the Ukrainian economy will grow by 5.2% .
