296 clashes recorded at the front: most attacks in the Pokrovskoye direction

Over the past 24 hours, there have been almost 296 clashes on the contact line. The hottest areas remain Pokrovsky, Kostyantynivsky, and Hulyaipil directions, where the occupiers continue massive assaults and shelling.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 8:00 a.m. on May 27.

According to updated information, yesterday the enemy carried out 76 air strikes, dropping 239 guided bombs. In addition, it used 7,089 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,568 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including 36 from multiple launch rocket systems.

Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery have struck seven areas of enemy manpower concentration, one cannon, and one other important enemy facility.

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day, the aggressor carried out two air strikes using six anti-aircraft missiles, carried out 87 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including two using MLRS. Nine enemy assault actions were recorded.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units 13 times in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Vovchansk, Vilcha, Hraniv, Ternova, Lyman, and Kolodyazne.

In the Kupyansk direction, our defenders stopped five enemy attempts to advance towards the settlements of Kupyansk, Kurylivka, Borova, Kolisnykovka, and Novoplatonivka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy tried to penetrate our defenses 12 times in the direction of Lyman, Drobyshevy, Dibrova, and in the Yampol area.

In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy stormed eight times towards the settlements of Rai-Oleksandrivka and Kryva Luka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy conducted one offensive operation in the Tikhonivka area.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 26 attacks near Kostyantynivka, Ivanopillya, Pleshchiivka, Rusyny Yar and towards the settlements of Mykolaipylya, Vilne and Kucheriv Yar.

In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 53 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Nykanorivka, Kotlyne, Horikhove, Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Udachne and towards the settlements of Shevchenko, Bilytske, Serhiivka Novopavlivka.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked once, in the area of the settlement of Novokhatske.

In the Hulyaipol direction, the invaders carried out 35 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Dobropillya, Zlagoda, Hulyaipol, Solodke, Pryluky, Zaliznychne, Staroukrainka and towards Novy Zaporizhzhia, Tsvitkiv, and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders stopped three enemy attempts to advance in the direction of Shcherbakiv, Stepnohirsk, and Bilogirye.

In the Dnieper direction, the enemy attacked twice towards Belogruy Island.

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
