350 hryvnias more: what the subsistence minimum could be in 2027

In Ukraine, the subsistence minimum may be increased from January 1, 2027. The government proposes to set it at UAH 3,559 per month for one person.

This is stated in the draft state budget for 2027, which the Cabinet of Ministers submitted to the Verkhovna Rada on September 15.

Currently, the subsistence minimum is UAH 3,209. If the government’s proposed figures are approved, the amount will increase by UAH 350 , or approximately 10.9%.

For able-bodied people, the subsistence minimum is proposed to be increased from UAH 3,328 to UAH 3,691. For children under 6 years old, it is proposed to be increased from UAH 2,817 to UAH 3,124, and for children from 6 to 18 years old, it is proposed to be increased from UAH 3,512 to UAH 3,895.

For people who have lost their ability to work, the indicator is proposed to be increased from 2,595 to 2,878 UAH.
