Syrskyi: Russian Strikes Up 60% in June Compared to May

In June, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck nearly 7,000 enemy targets using artillery and drones. At the same time, Russia increased its drone and missile attacks by 60%.

This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi.

“The enemy continues to increase the number of personnel involved in its war of aggression against our country, ramping up the production of missiles and drones. As a result, we are compelled to respond with both symmetrical and asymmetrical measures, seeking new tactical and technological solutions to counter the occupiers,” noted the Commander-in-Chief.

He added that Ukrainian defenders are courageously holding back enemy offensives, precisely targeting enemy personnel and equipment, striking key assets, and weakening Russia’s production capabilities.

“In June alone, Ukrainian forces carried out 115 fire missions under the DeepStrike initiative. Our artillery successfully struck 2,864 enemy targets,” Syrskyi reported.

He also noted that Russian forces increased the number of missile and drone attacks against Ukraine by 60% in June. In response, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck approximately 4,000 targets over the same period.
It was previously reported that on July 7, long-range drones of the Main Intelligence Directorate struck the Ilya Oil Refinery in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation.

It is worth recalling that on July 4, a large-scale drone attack was recorded in several regions of Russia. The settlements of the Rostov region, in particular the city of Azov, as well as the Sergiev Posad district near Moscow, were under attack.
