62% killed and 38% wounded: how Russians assess their losses on the battlefield

Ukrainian military intelligence managed to obtain documents regarding the Russian side’s assessment of losses on the battlefield.

This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to intelligence data, the Russians estimate their losses at 62% killed and 38% wounded.

“A change in the ratio of killed and wounded Russians has been recorded, namely, from 100% losses to 62% killed and 38% wounded,” Zelensky wrote.

He added that in closed official reports, enemy officials estimate their irretrievable losses at 1,315,000 killed and seriously wounded. However, the president said there are reasons to believe that this level of losses is underestimated.

In addition, according to the results of the report by the head of the GUR, Oleg Ivashchenko, it became known that intelligence received updated information about cooperation between the Russian Federation and North Korea.

Recall that in January, Russian losses exceeded its replenishment by 9 thousand and amounted to almost 32 thousand people.

By the way, the heavy losses of Russian military personnel on the battlefield are forcing the Kremlin to actively enlist the help of foreign mercenaries from a number of countries.

Earlier, Syrsky reported that over the past 6 months, the number of Russian military personnel in Ukraine has remained almost unchanged and amounts to approximately 711-712 thousand people, including the operational reserve.
