69 combat contacts have been recorded at the front since the beginning of the day

Russian troops continue active assault operations along the entire front line. As of 16:00 on July 26, 69 combat clashes were recorded.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in its construction.

Border settlements came under enemy artillery fire, in particular, Tymonovichi in Chernihiv region, as well as Doroshevka and Gorki in Sumy region. Shostka suffered an air strike.

In the northern directions, the Ukrainian military repelled six attacks in the Severo-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions. The Russians carried out three airstrikes, dropped six guided air bombs, and also carried out 162 shellings, including two from MLRS.

In the Kharkov region, the enemy attacked three times in the Staritsa and Vovchanskaya areas. All attacks were repelled. In the Kupyansk direction, military actions continued near Radkovka, Kupyansk and Zagryzovoye.

In the east, the most intense fighting is taking place in the Limansky and Pokrovsky directions. The enemy has carried out 11 attacks near Novy Mir, Zelenaya Gai, Shandrigolovy, Karpovka and other settlements – nine of them were repelled, and two more battles are ongoing. In the Pokrovsky direction, 35 assaults have been recorded since the beginning of the day, of which the Ukrainian military has repelled 27.

In the south, the enemy attacked twice near Temirovka in the Novopavlovskoye direction. In the Orekhovskoye direction, fighting continues in the Kamensky district. Air strikes on Belogorye and Odradokamenka were also recorded.

The General Staff notes that the situation has not changed in other areas of the front. The Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding their positions and repelling the enemy.
