72 clashes have been recorded on the front since the beginning of the day

As of 16:00 on July 22, 72 combat clashes had occurred on the front. Most of them were in the Pokrovsky and Limansky directions.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

North:
The enemy shelled Sumy region settlements with artillery, carried out seven airstrikes and carried out more than 200 attacks in the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions. Six attacks were repelled, three battles are ongoing.

Kharkiv region:
Four battles took place in the South Slobozhansky direction, and another one is ongoing.
Four attacks have been repelled in the Kupyansk direction, three battles are ongoing.

Donbass:
Four battles continue in the Liman direction, 14 enemy attacks have been repelled.
In the Seversky direction, the enemy attacked twice near Grigorovka.
There were no offensive actions in the Kramatorsk direction.
In the Toretsk direction, one attack was recorded near Toretsk.
There have been 26 attempted assaults in the Pokrovsky direction, five battles are ongoing.
In the Novopavlovsk direction the enemy attacked five times.

South:
The enemy did not carry out attacks in the Gulyai-Polye and Orekhov directions, but launched an airstrike on Malaya Tokmachka.
In the Dnieper direction, four enemy assaults were repelled.

In other areas the situation remains unchanged.
