The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the advance of the Russian occupiers; 76 combat clashes occurred in the last 24 hours.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

The enemy shelled the border communities of Chernihiv and Sumy regions, in particular Dibrova, Gremyach, Maryino, Petrushevka, Prokhody, Aleksandrovka, Porozki, Progress, Ugroidy, Pokrovka, Belaya Bereza, Bobilovka, Studenok, as well as Vozrozhdencheskoe in Kharkiv region, the enemy used Sumy region. During the day, the enemy carried out 7 airstrikes, dropping 16 guided bombs, carried out 196 shellings, including 14 from jet systems.

In the Severo-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the Ukrainian military repelled eight attacks, another battle is ongoing. In the Yuzhno-Slobozhansky direction, the occupiers attacked positions near Glubokoye, Vovchansk, Milovoye, Ambarnoye, Mitrofanovka 12 times, six battles are ongoing. In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked six times in the areas of Stepnaya Novoselovka, Kolesnikovka, Zagryzovoye, Zeleny Roshcha and in the direction of Petrovpavlika. In the Limansky direction, the enemy carried out eight attacks in the areas of Redkodub, Torskoye, Grigoryevka, Cherneshchyna and Novy Mir, two battles are ongoing. In the Seversky direction, a battle is underway in the direction of Fedorovka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy stormed Ukrainian military positions five times in the Bondarnoye, Markovoye and Vremenny Yar areas, two attacks have already been stopped. In the Toretsk direction, five combat clashes were recorded in the areas of Toretskaya, Petrovka, Rusiny Yar and in the direction of Pleshcheyevka, one battle is ongoing. In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian troops made 21 attempts to push back the defense forces near populated areas. The enemy dropped guided air bombs on the Poltavka and Mayak areas.

In the Novopavlovsk direction, eight attacks occurred in the areas of Zaporozhye, Poddubnoye, Shevchenko, two battles are ongoing. In the Gulyai-Polye direction, the enemy did not carry out offensive actions. In the Orekhov direction, the enemy attack in the Kamensky district is being held back. In the Pridneprovsk direction, the enemy did not carry out offensive actions, but launched an air strike on Kazatskoye. In other directions, no significant changes in the situation were recorded.
