78 battles have taken place on the front: what is the situation in the Pokrovsky direction?

Russian invaders continue to storm Ukrainian defenders’ positions. Since the beginning of the day, 78 combat clashes have been recorded.

This is stated in the construction of the General Staff.

Border settlements, including Zarechye in the Chernihiv region and Semeykino and Zarechnoye in the Sumy region, are suffering from artillery shelling from the territory of the Russian Federation.

Ukrainian defenders repelled three enemy attacks in the Severo-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions. The enemy also launched six airstrikes, dropped 13 heavy bombers, and carried out 104 attacks, including five from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy twice attacked Ukrainian defenders’ positions near Vovchansk, with one combat clash ongoing. The village of Shipovato suffered an air strike by KABs.

In the Kupyansk direction, five attacks on Ukrainian military positions continue in the Kotlyarovka area and in the direction of Peschanoye and Kolesnikovka.

In the Liman direction, the invading army attacked 14 times near the settlements of Novomikhaylovka, Grekovka, Kolodets, Shandrigolovo, Novoselovka, Derilovo, and Zarechnoye. The defense forces successfully halted seven enemy advances, but fighting continues.

In the Seversky direction, the enemy attempted to break through in the areas of Serebryanka, Orekhovo-Vasilovka and in the direction of Dronovka and Yampol; five of the seven attacks are ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of the Defense Forces in the Vremenny Yar area and was repulsed.

In the Toretsk direction, the invaders attempted to advance seven times today in the areas of Aleksandro-Shultino, Shcherbinovka, Pleshcheyevka, and Yablonovka. The enemy also struck Konstantinovka with KABs.

Since the start of the day, in the Pokrovsk sector, the occupiers have made 28 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions near the settlements of Poltavka, Nikanorovka, Rodynskoye, Krasny Liman, Novoekonomicheskoye, Sukhetske, Lisovka, Zverevoye, Kotlino, Udachnoye, and Orekhovoe. Defense forces are holding back the enemy onslaught and have repelled 27 attacks. Occupier aircraft struck Dobropillya.

Today, the enemy launched five attacks near the villages of Voskresenka, Yanvarya, Vorona, Ternovo, and Novogrigoryevka in the Novopavlovsk direction. One battle is currently ongoing.

In the Gulyai-Polye direction, our defenders repelled three attempts by enemy units to advance forward in the Olgovskoye area.

There are currently no enemy offensive actions recorded in the Orekhovo direction.

In the Dnieper sector, Ukrainian forces repelled two aggressor attacks, and another battle is ongoing. Enemy aircraft also carried out airstrikes on Olhivka.

“No significant changes in the situation have been recorded in other areas of the front,” the statement said.
