Since the beginning of the day, as of 16:00, 83 combat clashes have been recorded on the front.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.
In the north, settlements in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions came under artillery fire, and the Russians launched an airstrike on Mikhalchina Sloboda.
In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian forces repelled six attacks, two more battles are ongoing, the enemy carried out six airstrikes, dropped 13 guided bombs and carried out 149 shellings.
In the Kharkov region, the Russians stormed Ukrainian positions near Volchansk and Ambarnoye seven times and carried out airstrikes on Okhrimovka and Olhuvatka.
In the Kupyansk direction, three attacks were repelled in the areas of Kondrashovka, Zagryzovoye and in the direction of Petropavlovka, another battle continues.
In Donbass, the enemy attacked 11 times in the Liman direction near a number of populated areas, in the Seversky direction an attack was repelled near Vyemka, in the Kramatorsk direction an attack was repelled near Belaya Gora.
In the Toretsk direction, the Russians attacked three times in the areas of Rusiny Yar, Yablonovka and in the direction of Pleshcheyevka.
The Pokrovsky direction continues to be the most active – 30 military clashes have occurred near Mirny, Novotoretsky, Luch, Udachny and others, five battles are currently ongoing, the occupiers have carried out airstrikes on Poltavka, Belitsky, Mirnograd and other settlements.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the enemy tried to break through four times, one battle continues.
In the south, in the Gulyai-Polye direction, the enemy attempted to advance near Novozlatopol, in the Orekhov direction, an attack was repelled near Novopavlovka, and in the Dnieper direction, Ukrainian forces also repelled an enemy attack. The defense forces continue to contain enemy pressure in all directions.
