A 16-year-old driver fatally struck a pedestrian in the Carpathian region.

In the Kolomyia district of the Ivano-Frankivsk region, a 16-year-old boy without a license, driving a VAZ 2109, fatally struck a pedestrian.

It was reported that the young man, without a driver’s license, drove onto a road between villages and struck a pedestrian. The pedestrian died at the scene.

The underage driver fled the scene. However, law enforcement officers have established his identity and location.

The young man himself was not injured in the accident. He was tested for alcohol or drugs, and no abnormalities were found.
