A 31-year-old conscript was seriously injured after jumping out of a truck

In the Lviv region, a 31-year-old conscript jumped out of the back of a truck on the way to the training ground and suffered a traumatic brain injury.

This was reported to the Lviv region police.

On June 12, the police received a report from doctors about a patient who was taken to one of the Lviv hospitals unconscious with an open head injury.

“As previously established by the officers of the Yavoriv District Police Department, a mobilized 31-year-old resident of the Volyn region received bodily injuries after jumping out of the body of a truck during transportation to the training ground,” the law enforcement officers noted in the message.

The man has an open head injury, subdural and epidural hematomas, and multiple hemorrhages.

At the same time, the victim’s wife reports that on June 10 in Lutsk, her husband was detained by representatives of the CCC without the police. On June 11, according to the victim’s wife, he was taken to a training ground, allegedly without the VLK.

Law enforcement officers have opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 128 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – negligent infliction of serious or moderate bodily harm. Law enforcement officers are establishing all the circumstances of the incident.

Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada proposed introducing criminal liability for officials and military personnel of the CCC for illegal actions against citizens.

Earlier, the press service of the Ground Forces reported that in May there were 263 reports of incidents involving the CCC, but 90% turned out to be unconfirmed .
