A system failure occurred in Ukraine’s power system, leaving a significant part of Ukraine without power.
This is reported by ” European Truth ” with reference to sources.
DTEK reported that emergency shutdowns were applied in the capital and the region at the command of Ukrenergo.
In addition, emergency power outages were implemented in the Odessa region at the command of Ukrenergo.
Also, as of 11:15, emergency shutdown orders were received in Zhytomyr, Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions.
Emergency power outages are currently in effect across almost the entire territory of Ukraine. In particular, in Zhytomyr, energy infrastructure enterprises are switching to backup power.
We would like to remind you that in Kyiv, due to a power outage from external power supply centers , train traffic and escalators were temporarily suspended in the metro .
