A boarding house for the elderly burned near Lviv: details

In the village of Bryukhovychi in the Lviv district, during a fire in a boarding house for the elderly, firefighters saved 65 people and extinguished the fire.

The State Emergency Service reported this.

Information about the fire was received at 10:10 a.m. Fire and rescue units arrived at the scene in response to the increased call number.

“During the evacuation, firefighters saved 65 people: 42 people were carried out, another 23 were taken out in special rescue devices. At 10:53 the fire was localized, and at 11:12 it was extinguished,” the report says.

60 emergency workers and 14 units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. The causes and circumstances of the fire are being established by the police.
