A bus crashed into a truck on the Odessa-Mykolaiv highway, causing multiple fatalities.

A fatal traffic accident involving a passenger minibus and a truck occurred in the Mykolaiv region. Nine people were killed and eight others were injured.

The accident occurred on the morning of July 4 on the M-14 “Odesa – Melitopol – Novoazovsk” highway between the villages of Krasnoe and Nechayanoye.

According to preliminary information from law enforcement, the driver of a passenger minibus traveling from Odesa to Mykolaiv drove off the road. The vehicle then overturned, veered out of control into the oncoming lane, and collided with a Volvo truck.

Nine people died in the accident. Another eight people suffered injuries of varying severity. The victims are receiving the necessary medical attention.

Investigators, rescuers, and other emergency services are working at the scene of the accident. Patrol police officers are ensuring traffic control, and law enforcement officers are establishing all the circumstances of the tragedy.
