A car exploded in the courtyard of a high-rise building in Odessa, one person was injured

A Toyota car exploded in the Kyivsky district of Odessa, injuring a man. The victim was hospitalized, and law enforcement officers are establishing all the circumstances of the incident.

This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.

A report of an explosion of a Toyota car on Akademika Koroleva Street was received by the “102” hotline on the morning of February 16. According to preliminary data from law enforcement officers, a 56-year-old man was injured as a result of the incident.

The victim has currently been hospitalized to a medical facility.

Detectives, investigators, forensic experts, and explosives technicians are working at the scene. The legal qualification of the incident will be determined after all the circumstances of the incident are established.

Recall that on February 9, a grenade detonated in a car in the city of Shakhtarske, Dnipropetrovsk region. A 37-year-old man was in the car at the time of the explosion. According to law enforcement officials, he was seriously injured and died as a result of the detonation.
