A conscript died during transportation in the Cherkasy region: what the CCK and SP say

In Cherkasy region, a conscript died after being injured during transportation to a training center.

This was reported by the Cherkasy Regional CCC.

It is noted that on August 22, a team of conscripts was sent to the training center from the Cherkasy RTCC assembly point.

While driving in the city of Smila, a conscript jumped out onto the roadway, resulting in multiple injuries.

“Servicemen of the CCC and SP immediately stopped the vehicle, provided the citizen with primary medical aid and called an ambulance. A police squad arrived at the same time.
“The citizen was taken to a medical facility,” the CCC reported.

It is noted that on August 24, the conscript died from his injuries.

The police have entered information about this fact into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations and are establishing all the circumstances of the incident. The CCC assured that they are “fully assisting in the investigation.”
