A court in Transcarpathia has for the first time found a TCC employee guilty of obstructing the Ombudsman.

In the Zakarpattia region, a court for the first time found an employee of a territorial recruitment center guilty of obstructing the activities of an ombudsman’s representative during an inspection.
This was reported by the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights , Dmitry Lubinets .
This concerns the decision of the Uzhgorod City and District Court , which established that the ombudsman’s representatives were not allowed into the premises or provided with the necessary information during the monitoring visit.
According to Lubinets, such cases are systemic and are being recorded in various regions of Ukraine. During the inspection in Transcarpathia, they likely attempted to conceal serious violations—specifically, the illegal detention of people, the use of handcuffs, and other actions with signs of inhumane treatment.
The Ombudsman emphasized that such actions will have legal consequences, and parliamentary oversight cannot be blocked.
Materials regarding potential violations have already been forwarded to law enforcement agencies. According to Lubinets, all such cases will be personally monitored and will receive due legal review.
Earlier, the State Bureau of Investigation completed an investigation into a TCC official and a serviceman involved in the death of a man during the transport of mobilized personnel.
