A crowd beat a military transport company with a crowbar in the Rivne region.

On December 24, in a village in the western region, a group of civilians attacked representatives of the Trade and Cultural Center and police during a call for military personnel. As a result of the attack, one serviceman sustained serious injuries.

According to the West Operational Command, the incident occurred after police officers assigned to the alert team attempted to stop a car and check the driver’s documents. The vehicle failed to stop and drove onto the property of a private entrepreneur.

Passersby subsequently joined the incident and, without clarifying the circumstances, began to act aggressively against law enforcement and military personnel. The attackers insulted the personnel, pulled at their uniforms, threw sticks at them, and one of the men struck a soldier with a crowbar.

The victim suffered a broken rib and bruised lungs. Doctors are assessing his condition as serious and are providing him with the necessary medical care.

The “Zapad” OK noted that this is a case of deliberate obstruction of the lawful activities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces using violence. A criminal case has been opened under Part 2 of Article 350 of the Criminal Code.

It was previously reported that the Odessa Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TRCS&SS) launched an internal investigation into an incident that occurred on December 4, 2025.
