A drone struck a train in the Kharkiv region, killing a passenger.
On the morning of March 24, a Russian drone attacked a commuter train traveling from Slatino to Kharkiv while it was at the station. The strike killed a 61-year-old passenger.
The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this.
According to preliminary reports, the Russians used an FPV drone, which crashed into a train car. The man died instantly.
The driver and his assistant suffered an acute stress reaction.
All relevant services are working at the scene of the incident.
The incident was classified as a war crime resulting in the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
As a reminder, Ukrzaliznytsia reported delays to a number of trains in the Poltava region and assured that they are working to restore the schedule.
