On the morning of January 21, enemy shelling caused significant damage to a DTEK power facility in the Odesa region. Several thousand customers were temporarily without power.

This was reported by the DTEK press center.

According to the company, the damage is significant and equipment restoration will take a long time.

After receiving clearance from rescuers and the military, emergency crews began restoration work. Specialists are inspecting equipment, clearing debris, and preparing for repairs.

DTEK assured that power engineers are working continuously to restore power supply to all consumers as quickly as possible.

As a reminder, Ukraine has secured new energy aid packages from foreign partners, which will help strengthen the resilience of its energy system amid ongoing Russian shelling.
