On June 14, an Iranian attack on Israel claimed the lives of a Ukrainian family from Odesa, marking a tragic loss amid ongoing regional tensions.
This information was shared live on “Social. Studio” by Ukrainian Jewish historian and journalist Shimon Briman.
According to Briman, Ukrainian citizens were killed as a result of a direct missile strike in the city of Bat Yam.
He stated that a family from Odesa had come to Israel for their daughter’s medical treatment.
“Last night, there was a brief press release from the Ukrainian Embassy in Israel. We feel a deep sense of shared destiny between Ukrainians and Israelis,” Briman added.
As a reminder, on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that, according to preliminary information, five Ukrainians — including children — were killed in the Iranian strike.
