A fatal accident involving a bus occurred in Boryspil
A fatal road accident involving a shuttle bus and a passenger car occurred in Boryspil, Kyiv region. One person died and several others were injured as a result of the accident.
This was reported to the Kyiv region police.
The accident occurred on May 27 at around 11:00 a.m. on Kyivskyi Shlyakh Street. Investigators, patrol officers, and medics arrived at the scene of the accident.
According to preliminary information from law enforcement officers, the driver of the Jeep drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a bus. At the time of the accident, there were 17 passengers in the minibus.
“According to preliminary information, it has been established that the Jeep driver crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with a regular bus,” the police reported.
The passenger of the car died at the scene due to the strong impact. The driver of the Jeep was taken to the hospital.
In addition, three bus passengers were injured and were also taken to a medical facility for treatment.
Following the accident, investigators opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – violation of traffic rules, which caused the death of a person or serious bodily injury.
As reported, in the village of Hatne, Fastiv district, Kyiv region , an accident occurred involving a Peugeot car and an electric scooter, on which two children were riding . As a result of the accident, a 10-year-old boy died, another child was injured and was hospitalized.
