A fatal accident involving a prosecutor occurred in the Lviv region: a child died

Today, February 24, a traffic accident occurred in the Lviv region, resulting in the death of a child and the injury of another.
This was announced by Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko.
“A few hours ago, a terrible tragedy occurred that I have to report personally. A child died in a traffic accident in the Lviv region, and another was hospitalized,” the official said.
According to him, the car was driven by a prosecutor from one of the district prosecutor’s offices in the Lviv region. The accident occurred in the evening when he was returning from work.
The driver has already been detained. According to the results of the examination, no signs of alcohol intoxication were detected.
All circumstances of the incident are currently being investigated.
“We will ensure a full, impartial and as objective an investigation as possible. It is being carried out by investigators of the State Bureau of Investigation. I am taking this case under personal control. We are obliged to ensure justice,” Kravchenko assured.
Earlier, a Ukrainian businessman was in a traffic accident on his way to Kyiv : he hit a pedestrian on an unlit section of the road. The victim died from his injuries.
