A fatal accident occurred in the Carpathian region: one person died, about eight more were hospitalized
In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, near Halych, a road accident involving a passenger car and a bus occurred, resulting in the death of a 67-year-old passenger. About eight more people received injuries of varying severity.
This was reported by the Ivano-Frankivsk region Police.
The accident occurred on November 17 at around 7:00 a.m. on the national road N-09 Mukachevo–Lviv. An investigative and operational team, rescuers, and medics arrived at the scene.
According to preliminary data, the car was driven by a 64-year-old resident of Kolomyia district. He was driving towards the city of Burshtyn and crossed into the oncoming lane. At that moment, a collision occurred with a vehicle driven by a 52-year-old resident of the Bilshivtsi territorial community.
A 67-year-old female passenger on a bus was killed in the impact. About eight people were injured and hospitalized for medical treatment.
Police continue to work at the scene and establish all the circumstances of the fatal accident.
It was previously reported that on November 9, a fatal road accident occurred in the village of Fedorivka, Rivne district . A pensioner couple died as a result of a collision between a passenger car and an SUV.
By the way, a fatal traffic accident occurred in the village of Myhalky in the Kyiv region, resulting in one person dying and six others being injured.
As a reminder, in Mykolaiv, law enforcement officers are investigating the circumstances of a fatal accident involving a motorcycle . The driver died in the accident, and the passenger was injured.
