A fight broke out with a police officer at the RTCC in the Odessa region: three detained

The police have initiated criminal proceedings into the beating of a law enforcement officer by military personnel of the RTCC and SP in the Odessa region.

This was reported by the press service of the Odessa region police.

The incident occurred a few days ago when a police officer was delivering a man who had violated military registration rules to one of the RTCC and SP departments.

According to the investigation, three servicemen began to behave aggressively with the police officer, used obscene language and provoked a conflict. One of them was intoxicated. When the law enforcement officer made a remark, a fight broke out between the parties.

Investigators have opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 345 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – intentional infliction of bodily harm to a law enforcement officer in connection with the performance of his official duties. The sanction of the article provides for up to five years of imprisonment.

All those involved were informed of the suspicion. They were detained in accordance with the procedural procedure and placed in a temporary detention center. The police are preparing a petition to the court to choose preventive measures.

As previously reported, in Odessa, the Odessa Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCK and SP) launched an internal investigation into an incident that occurred on December 4, 2025.
