A fire broke out at the Iskra factory in Lviv: three people died, five more were injured

A fire broke out in a warehouse with aerosol cans on the territory of the Lviv Iskra plant in Sykhiv. As a result of the fire, 3 people died and 5 more workers were injured.

This was announced by the Lviv City Council and Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi .

During the fire, rescuers found the bodies of 2 deceased at the scene. Later, the body of another person was found on the territory of the enterprise, after which the number of deceased increased to 3.

Five employees of the enterprise were hospitalized. According to preliminary data, they received superficial burns, their condition was assessed as moderate.

The fire was contained. Rescuers continued to work at the scene and remove dangerous containers from the warehouse.

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi reported on the deaths and expressed condolences to their families and loved ones.

The circumstances of the fire and all consequences of the incident are currently being established.
