Andrey Parubiy’s wife, Ulyana, told Espresso that the year following his death was very difficult for her. She said Andrey still remains in her daily life and thoughts.
“He’s with us because you can’t just throw someone away. He’s constantly in our thoughts. I think he’s somewhere, I just can’t find him,” said Ulyana Parubiy.
She noted that she would like Andrei to be remembered as smiling, kind and fair.
Speaking about the man’s activities and his life’s journey, Ulyana Parubiy also stated that she has no plans to continue his work. She said Andrei’s path was dangerous, so she wants to follow her own path.
“I won’t continue his path because it’s dangerous. I’m not saying not to continue it, but it’s very dangerous. It’s dangerous now. I had a path with him, and now I have my own path,” said Ulyana Parubiy.
