A gradual warming is expected in Ukraine.
Cold autumn weather will persist in Ukraine in the coming days, but temperatures will begin to gradually rise starting Tuesday, October 22.
This was reported by meteorologist Natalia Didenko.
According to her, October 20-21 will be the coldest days of the coming period.
In most regions, daytime temperatures will range from 6 to 9°C, with highs reaching 11°C in the south and Transcarpathia. Overnight frosts are expected at 0 to –5°C in the western regions and 1 to 5°C in the rest of the country.
Starting Tuesday, a gradual warming is forecast: during the day the air will warm up to +10…+14 °C, and in the southern and western regions it will be even higher in the second half of the week.
On Monday, October 20, due to the influence of a cyclone, rain will fall almost everywhere in Ukraine, except for the western regions, where sunny clearings are expected under the influence of an anticyclone.
Kyiv will be humid and cool on this day, with occasional rain, and daytime temperatures will reach 7–8°C. According to Didenko, the warmest day in the capital will be Thursday, October 23.
“We’re still freezing, but it’ll warm up on Tuesday,” the weather forecaster noted.
