At noon on February 9, a grenade detonated in a car in the city of Shakhtarske, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
This was reported to the police.
A 37-year-old man was in the car at the time of the explosion. According to law enforcement, he suffered serious injuries and died as a result of the detonation.
An investigative and operational team arrived at the scene. It was previously established that the grenade exploded due to careless handling.
Law enforcement agencies are currently investigating all the circumstances of the incident. Criminal proceedings have been opened into this matter.
