Ukraine has returned six more children and adolescents from the temporarily occupied territories as part of the President’s Bring Kids Back UA initiative.

This was announced on the organization’s Facebook page.

Among those rescued was 16-year-old Sofia. Russian social services pressured the family and threatened them with divorce because they refused to apply for a Russian passport. At school, the girl was forced to attend ideological classes called “Conversations about Important Things” and “Russia – My Horizons.”

19-year-old Nazar was detained by occupation representatives near a store and taken to the military registration and enlistment office for registration. If he refused, he was threatened with fines and deportation.

20-year-old Mykyta was stopped by Russian soldiers after he and a friend overtook their car. The occupiers took the moped, money, and personal belongings. They demanded 10 liters of gasoline in exchange for the return of the vehicle. The boy’s other property was not returned.

Currently, all those rescued are safe and receiving help to adapt after what they experienced.

Partners Save Ukraine, We Are All Ukrainians, and the Joint Center for Coordination of the Search and Release of Prisoners of War and Illegally Deprived Persons joined the operation.

It was previously reported that another group of children and adolescents was returned from the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region to the territory controlled by Ukraine.

As a reminder, in the Zaporizhia region, mandatory evacuation of children together with their parents or legal representatives from five settlements was introduced.
