A hellish night in Zaporizhia: the enemy struck with ballistics and drones, a dormitory was destroyed, many injured

On the night of October 30, powerful explosions were heard in Zaporizhia. The Russian army launched a massive strike on the city, using kamikaze drones and ballistic missiles.

According to monitoring channels, at least four rockets were fired at the city in just 10 minutes. Later, the head of the Zaporizhzhia OVA Ivan Fedorov confirmed the attack, noting that the enemy was targeting an infrastructure facility.

“The occupiers launched at least 20 drone and 8 missile strikes on Zaporizhia. Several floors of the dormitory were destroyed. Preliminary reports indicate that one person may remain under the rubble. The rescue operation is ongoing,” Fedorov said.

As of 9:31 a.m., 15 injured residents are known to have been injured, including six children aged 3 to 6 (three boys and three girls).

The injured have lacerations, contusions, fractures, and acute stress reactions. All are receiving necessary medical care.

In addition, another person may be trapped under the rubble.

According to the State Emergency Service, psychologists of the service provided assistance to 27 citizens, including 7 children. The number of victims is being clarified.

Search and rescue operations are underway at one of the locations, involving a dog team. At the same time, rescuers extinguished fires caused by rocket and drone debris at other hit sites.

All emergency services are working at the scene, continuing to clear the rubble and eliminate the consequences of another Russian attack on a peaceful city.
