A horrific road accident involving two cars occurred in the Kharkiv region: seven people were injured, including a child

In the Kharkiv region, police are investigating the circumstances of a traffic accident that occurred in the Chuhuyiv district. Seven people, including a minor, were injured in a collision between two cars.
This was reported by the press service of the Kharkiv region police.
It is noted that the accident occurred on October 11 at around 3:00 p.m. at the intersection of the Novopokrovka – Kamyana Yaruga and Kyiv-Kharkiv-Dovzhansky highways. Two cars collided – a Hyundai Getz and a VAZ 21099.
According to preliminary data, the driver of the Hyundai Getz car, when entering the highway, was not convinced of the safety of the traffic and did not give way to the VAZ 21099 car, which was moving in the direction of the city of Chuguiv.
As a result of the collision, both drivers and five passengers, aged 11 to 69, were injured. All victims received medical attention.
Investigators from the Chuguiv District Police Department and medics worked at the scene of the accident. The issue of entering information into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – “Violation of traffic safety rules that caused bodily injuries to the victim” is currently being resolved.
The police continue to investigate all the circumstances of the incident and urge drivers to be as careful as possible behind the wheel and strictly follow traffic rules to avoid such tragedies.

It was previously reported that one person died and four others were injured in a collision between a car and a minibus in the Kyiv region . The accident occurred on September 29 near the village of Chervone, Kovalivka territorial community.
By the way, in the city of Snyatyn, Ivano-Frankivsk region, on the evening of September 7 , two young men died in a road accident : a 19-year-old driver and a 15-year-old passenger, and two more minors were injured.
