A large-scale failure occurred at Privat24

In the afternoon of August 22, a technical failure occurred in the work of “Privat24” – some PrivatBank clients were unable to log in to the application and make payments.

Users reported that they were unable to log in to the service either from their mobile phone or through the web version. When attempting to log in, the system displayed the message “Authorization denied.”

In a comment to RBC-Ukraine, the bank’s press secretary, Oleg Serga, confirmed the disruptions:
“Currently, some customers may experience difficulties with authorization and some payment transactions in Privat24. Our specialists are working to restore stable operation of the service.”

Subsequently, PrivatBank informed that all systems were operating normally:
“Stable operation of services has been restored,” the bank’s press service noted.

As a reminder, on the morning of July 12, a technical glitch was again recorded in the “Reserve+” application. Users are reporting slow service and the inability to log in to their accounts.
