A large-scale road accident involving eight cars occurred in the Rivne region, there are injuries

A traffic accident involving several vehicles occurred on the Kyiv-Chop highway near Rivne. As a result of the accident, traffic in the direction of the capital is blocked, and there are injuries.

This is reported by the Rivne region Police.

It is noted that the traffic accident occurred today, December 20, at about 1 p.m. in the village of Bila Krynytsia on the Kyiv-Chop highway.

According to preliminary information, approximately 8 vehicles collided. The accident resulted in a fire.

Police officers, units of the State Emergency Service, and medics are working at the scene.

It is preliminary known that 3 people were injured. Rescuers unblocked the victims from the damaged vehicles.

The injured were taken to a medical facility, where they are undergoing examination. Due to the accident, traffic in the direction of Kyiv is blocked. Drivers are urged to take this information into account when planning their routes.

Earlier, on December 12, at around 9:10 p.m., a traffic accident occurred on the Zhytomyr-Chernivtsi highway near the village of Antonivtsi . As a result of the accident, the driver of one of the cars died, and two more people were injured and hospitalized.

By the way, a serious road accident involving a school bus occurred in the Kamyansk district of the Dnipropetrovsk region . Two people died as a result of the accident, and seven more, including a child, were injured.

As a reminder, in Pryluky, Chernihiv region , a patrol police car ran over two people at a pedestrian crossing, resulting in the death of a child and injuries to a woman.
