A lot of precipitation and frost: forecasters warned of a sharp change in weather in Ukraine

During the week from November 17 to 23, Ukraine will experience changeable weather. Rain, sleet, frost, and sharp temperature jumps are expected in various regions.

On Monday, November 17, rains are forecast at night in the northern, central and eastern regions, and during the day they will shift to the west of the country. It will be dry in the rest of the territories. The daytime temperature will be from +9 to +14 degrees, and in the south and Precarpathia the air will warm up to +15…+18 degrees. The wind will be south or southwest with a speed of 7–12 meters per second. Gusts of 15–20 meters per second are expected in some places in the morning and afternoon.
On Tuesday, November 18, rains will cover the central and northern regions. At night, slight precipitation is possible in the west, while in other areas there will be no precipitation. On the Left Bank, the daytime temperature will rise to +12…+17 degrees. In the west and north, a cooling to +2…+7 degrees is forecast. At night, temperatures in the west are possible from –2 to +3 degrees. Fog is possible in the southwestern regions.
On Wednesday, November 19, an atmospheric front will bring rain to the central, northern and western regions, as well as to the Odessa region. Wet snow is expected in the northwestern regions. Significant precipitation is possible in some places. Only the southeast of the country will be dry. The daytime temperature in the western and northern regions will be from -1 to +4 degrees, while in the southeast and in Crimea warm weather will remain up to +13…+18 degrees.
On Thursday, November 20, at night, rain will fall in the southern, central and northern regions. Precipitation is forecast in the eastern regions during the day. In the western and northern regions, frosts from -3 to +2 degrees are expected at night. During the day, the temperature will be from 0 to +5 degrees. On the Left Bank, wind gusts of up to 15–20 meters per second are possible.
On Friday, November 21, under the influence of an anticyclone, partly cloudy weather without precipitation will be established throughout Ukraine. At night, frosts from -1 to -5 degrees are predicted in the west and north. During the day, the temperature will be +2…+8 degrees, and in the south and in Crimea, +9 to +14 degrees are expected.
On Saturday, November 22, rain and sleet are forecast in the west at night, with possible accumulation of sleet and ice in places. Precipitation will spread to the northern regions during the day. Warm weather will persist in the south and in Crimea with temperatures reaching +14…+16 degrees.
On Sunday, November 23, at night, rain will fall in the east and south of the country. In the afternoon, under the influence of an anticyclone, the weather will be dry throughout Ukraine. The daytime temperature will be from 0 to +6 degrees. The wind will be northwest at a speed of 7–12 meters per second.
It was previously reported that on Monday, November 17, warm but windy weather is expected in Ukraine – in places the temperature will rise to +17°C. In just two days, cold, precipitation, and wet snow will return to the country.
