A magnetic storm is approaching: The Earth will be covered by a stream of solar wind

On September 24, the Earth will be covered by a G1-level magnetic storm. The geomagnetic disturbance will be caused by a stream of solar wind coming from a coronal hole.
The British Geological Survey warns about this. According to scientists, the Kp index will rise to 5 and above today, which corresponds to a weak magnetic storm of the G1 level.
The disturbance is expected to be short-lived. The geomagnetic situation should improve as early as September 25, and calm or only slightly disturbed conditions are forecast for September 25–26.
A G1 magnetic storm may slightly affect satellite communications, navigation, and radio systems. Auroras are also possible at high latitudes.
Some people may complain of headaches, fatigue, or sleep problems during geomagnetic disturbances. However, there is currently no convincing scientific evidence that these symptoms are directly related to magnetic storms.
There is no need to take special precautions against magnetic storms. It is important to maintain a normal sleep schedule, drink enough water, avoid overexertion, and avoid severe stress if possible. People with chronic diseases are recommended to continue with the treatment prescribed by their doctor.
