A magnetic storm is approaching: when will it hit Ukraine?

A magnetic storm is expected in Ukraine in the coming days. According to forecasts, noticeable changes may begin on April 16–17.
This was reported by the British Geological Survey.
Scientists explain that the Earth will be affected by a so-called coronal hole on the Sun, which will increase the solar wind.
The magnetic storm is expected to reach G1 level on April 17–18, a weak but noticeable level of geomagnetic disturbance.
The situation is calm at the moment: the level of fluctuations is low. However, activity will increase in a day or two.
During magnetic storms, some people may feel unwell. Most often, they complain of headaches, weakness, drowsiness, or high blood pressure.
Experts advise getting more rest, drinking water, and avoiding overload on such days.
