A major accident occurred near Zhitomir: the Kyiv-Chop highway was closed.

The Kyiv-Chop international highway near Zhytomyr is partially closed due to a major accident with injuries.

The Ukrainian patrol police reported this on October 25.

It was noted that at the 129th km of the M-06 Kyiv-Chop highway, near the village of Glubochitsa, a traffic accident occurred, with preliminary casualties.

Traffic is partially delayed in the direction of Rivne: a temporary detour has been established along a section of the road undergoing road repairs. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.

As a reminder, law enforcement in Mykolaiv is investigating the circumstances of a fatal motorcycle accident . The driver was killed and the passenger was injured.
