A man died while passing the VLK in the Dnipropetrovsk region

A conscript died in the Dnipropetrovsk region during a military registration and enlistment check. The incident occurred on May 5, 2026, during the work of the alert group.
This was reported by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support.
According to the department, the man was stopped during a document check as part of a group that included servicemen of the RTCC and SP and a representative of the National Police. He was in the status of a military registration violator and was subject to conscription.
While passing the military medical examination, he suddenly felt sick.
“An ambulance was called to the citizen, who provided emergency care for 45 minutes,” the CCC noted.
Despite the efforts of doctors, the man was pronounced dead.
An official investigation has been ordered and criminal proceedings have been opened. Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
“The leadership and personnel of the Dnipropetrovsk OTCC and SP are providing comprehensive assistance to the investigation,” the department added.
The results of the investigation are promised to be made public after its completion.
As a reminder, employees of the State Bureau of Investigation have completed an investigation into a CCC official and a serviceman involved in the death of a man during the transportation of mobilized personnel.
