A man was killed in a Russian attack in the Rivne region.
On the morning of February 7, the Rivne region suffered an airstrike, killing a man and injuring two others. Damage to residential and critical infrastructure was also recorded, including a hit to an apartment building.
The head of the Rivne Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Koval, reported this.
According to him, the strike damaged residential buildings and critical infrastructure. Information about the apartment building being hit is being clarified, and all relevant services are on the scene.
The regional governor noted that due to the attack, the region is experiencing partial power outages and water supply disruptions are possible. Other essential services are functioning normally.
Koval added that he held an urgent meeting of the regional commission on technogenic and environmental safety and emergency situations and instructed community leaders to utilize all available alternative power sources.
As a reminder, on the night of February 7, Russian troops launched attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure facilities, specifically substations, overhead power lines, and the Burshtyn and Dobrotvir thermal power plants.
