The Odessa Regional Center for Recruitment and Social Support conducted an internal investigation following the mobilization of a young man who had spent four years under occupation in the Kherson region and was mobilized on the first day after returning to Ukrainian-controlled territory.

The Bolgrad Transport and Communications Centre and the Joint Venture reported this in response to a request from hromadske .

The TCC explained that the young man was brought to the center because he failed to pass the military medical examination on time. For now, he remains subject to military conscription.

On April 28, he was issued a summons and sent to Odessa to obtain a Ukrainian citizen’s passport.

The recruitment center also noted that the young man’s identity was established based on a so-called “white passport,” which, according to them, is an identity document.

Following the internal investigation, the TCC stated that it had taken “a number of organizational measures” to prevent similar situations in the future. However, it did not provide any details on these measures.
