A man who traded positions in the special services was detained in Kyiv

In Kyiv, police officers have exposed a man who promised to “employ” people in a law enforcement agency for $25,000. He guaranteed that he would ensure successful completion of the competition and appointment to the position thanks to his alleged “influential connections.”

This is reported by the metropolitan police.

According to the investigation, the 41-year-old native of Donetsk convinced his acquaintances that it was impossible to get into the special services without the “right contacts.” He assured the “candidates” that he had access to the leadership and would solve the issue of their employment for $25,000.

Law enforcement officers detained the man while he was receiving the entire amount. The operation was conducted by investigators from the Kyiv Police Department together with SBU officers and under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office.

The defendant has already been charged under Part 3 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – abuse of influence . He faces up to eight years in prison with confiscation of property.

As previously reported, law enforcement officers in Kyiv detained the leader of a political party, who is suspected of fraud and selling through-list places in the upcoming parliamentary elections .

As a reminder, in the Odessa region, law enforcement officers exposed the head of one of the district territorial recruitment and social support centers for taking a bribe.
