A military CCC member was killed in Lviv: the attacker is being sought

In Lviv, police are searching for a man who fatally wounded a CCC serviceman during a warning event.

This is reported by the National Police.

The incident occurred on April 2 at around 2:15 p.m. on Patona Street. According to law enforcement, an unknown person stabbed the soldier in the neck and fled.

The injured man was hospitalized, but doctors were unable to save him – he died in the hospital.

The police are conducting a special operation to identify and detain the attacker. Criminal police officers, investigators, patrol officers, and other units have been involved in the search.

Investigators have opened a criminal case under the article “Premeditated murder.” The attacker faces 10 to 15 years in prison or life imprisonment.

The head of the Lviv Oblast Armed Forces, Maksym Kozytsky, confirmed the death of the soldier and expressed condolences to his family. He emphasized that the attacker must face inevitable punishment.

As previously reported, on March 31, a conflict occurred in the village of Sosonka in Vinnytsia Region between local residents and military personnel of the CCK during alert activities.
