A minor opened fire on the street in Zaporizhia: he was hospitalized

In Zaporizhia, law enforcement officers are investigating the circumstances of an incident with a firearm, which injured a minor.

As reported by the Zaporizhzhia regional police, the incident occurred in the courtyard of an apartment building. According to preliminary data, the boy, born in 2010, fired several shots into the air from a firearm. After that, he fell and, due to his own carelessness, shot again, injuring himself.

The teenager was hospitalized, and doctors are providing him with the necessary assistance.

Investigative and operational teams were working at the scene. Police officers are establishing all the circumstances of the incident, including the origin of the weapon. The issue of the legal qualification of the incident and entering information into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations is being resolved.

As a reminder, in one of the schools in Kyiv, a student came to the educational institution with a knife and attacked a teacher and another student. The victims are receiving medical assistance, and the attacker was detained by law enforcement officers.

As reported, on the night of December 20 , a mass brawl with shooting between two companies occurred in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv. The police have opened a criminal case and are identifying all participants in the incident.
