A new Cabinet composition has been introduced to the Council: who is proposed to be appointed

The Verkhovna Rada has received a proposal from newly appointed Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi on the formation of a new Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Among the proposed candidates are Denys Shmyhal, who is to retain the positions of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy, as well as a number of new contenders for ministerial positions.
This was announced by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk.
According to him, the parliament will soon consider the submission in accordance with the Constitution, the Rules of Procedure of the Verkhovna Rada, and the Law of Ukraine “On the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.”
“The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will consider the submission in the near future in accordance with the Constitution of Ukraine, the Rules of Procedure of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and the Law of Ukraine “On the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine,” said Ruslan Stefanchuk.
According to the submission, Denys Shmyhal should remain in the position of First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy.
It is also proposed to appoint the following to the new government:
Tatyana Berezhna – Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy and Minister of Culture;
Vsevolod Chentsov – Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration;
Vitaliy Bezgin — Minister of Communities, Territories and Internally Displaced Persons;
Matviy Bidnyi – Minister of Youth and Sports;
Andriy Butenko – Minister of Education and Science;
Ivan Vyhivskyi – Minister of Internal Affairs;
Taras Vysotsky — Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food;
Mykola Kalashnyk – Minister of Reconstruction, Infrastructure and Transport;
Vitaliy Kim — Minister of Veterans Affairs;
Oleksandr Kravchenko — Minister of Economy and Environment;
Viktor Lyashko – Minister of Health;
Serhiy Marchenko – Minister of Finance;
Denys Maslov – Minister of Justice;
Denys Ulyutin – Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity;
Oksana Ferchuk – Minister of Digital Transformation.
After consideration in the Verkhovna Rada, the people’s deputies must vote on the appointment of the new government.
As a reminder, the Verkhovna Rada appointed Serhiy Koretsky as Prime Minister of Ukraine. The corresponding decision was supported by 289 people’s deputies.
