A new deputy has appeared in the Rada.

Today, November 4, during a parliamentary session, former journalist Dmitry Slinko took the oath of office as a people’s deputy.

This became known during the broadcast of the Verkhovna Rada.

On October 29, the Central Election Commission recognized Slinko as elected in the snap elections of people’s deputies of Ukraine on July 21, 2019, in the nationwide multi-mandate electoral district from the Servant of the People political party under No. 151.

Slinko became a people’s deputy instead of Anna Kolesnik.

He worked as a journalist, was a contributor to UA: First, edited cultural programs, and contributed to Focus magazine. He also worked at Korrespondent.

In 2019, he unsuccessfully ran for the 9th convocation of the Verkhovna Rada from the Servant of the People party (No. 151 on the list).

Since 2019, he has been an assistant to the 9th convocation MP Evgenia Kravchuk, elected from the Servant of the People party.

In 2020, he worked on the staff of the Servant of the People party.
