Russian propagandists are spreading a new information hoax about alleged “atrocities” by the Ukrainian military.

This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation.

A video has appeared online in which a woman from Rodynske in the Donetsk region claims that her child was injured and her husband was killed in an attack by an alleged Ukrainian drone.

At the same time, she does not provide any evidence confirming that the drone belonged to Ukraine.

The CPR emphasizes that residents of temporarily occupied territories are under constant pressure from the occupation administration, and such statements are often accompanied by manipulation and distortion of facts.

Such allegations are systemic. Previously, Russian propaganda spread fakes, including that a Ukrainian drone was allegedly “teasing an old woman with a goat.”

The CPD emphasizes that the goal of such campaigns is to discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine and form a hostile attitude towards the Ukrainian military.

As previously reported, Russian propagandists continue to generate “justifications” for the systematic shelling of the civilian population of Kherson.

As a reminder, a fake video is being distributed on TikTok in which a man in military uniform poses as a Ukrainian serviceman and claims to have suffered “massive non-combat losses” in the unit.
