A new head has been appointed to the Foreign Intelligence Service

Oleksandr Kononenko has been appointed as the new head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine. He replaces Oleg Ivashchenko, who was previously appointed head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.

This is reported by informed sources.

Thus, another personnel renewal took place in the leadership of key intelligence structures of Ukraine.

As previously reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposed to Mykhailo Fedorov to head the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

As a reminder, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with Kirill Budanov and offered him the position of head of the Office of the President.
